Line-up:
Greg Shapiro
As a comedian, he is known as the voice of the ‘Netherlands Second’ video – and as one of the earliest members of Boom Chicago theater in Amsterdam. He has hosted ‘Comedy Central News’ on ComedyCentralNL and he has appeared on BNN-VARA, VPRO & ZDF.As author, Greg has written books such as How to Be Dutch: the Quiz and his latest The American Netherlander: 25 Years of Expat Tales. His solo standup shows include Leaving Trumpland and How to Be Orange.
Jacob Adriani
Smart, worldly and prone to flights of fancy, Jacob Adriani disproves the stereotype that comedians are all miserable bastards. His kind, authentic presence has warmed the hearts of audiences all over the Netherlands/Europe.
Nigel Williams
Belgium’s ‘No punches held, no holds barred’ comedian. If you like your comedy a bit rough around the edges, you’ll love Nigel Williams. Nigel’s act is full of energy and healthy misanthropic rage, with improvisation and audience participation guaranteed. Nigel’s act has been described as “A long distance sprint of laughs with no final destination”. Nigel has performed in Holland, England, Scotland, Denmark, Sweden, Estonia, Finland and Germany and is best known for the political and social bent of his humor.
Michael Jäger
He is a German born, Amsterdam based Comedian. Michael studied Psychology and Economics. After studying Economics he despised business people. After studying Psychology he despised all people. And after starting comedy he fell in love with people.
Zoe Tnonta (Rookie)
Zoe is a hairy comedy hurricane lighting up stages across the Netherlands. She’s 30% Greek, 30% Albanian, and 100% nuts. After studying Classic Literature at the VU (yes the VU!), she found that her true passion is making people laugh about the present rather than crying about the past!
